Daren Wagoner Architects is a boutique design studio with a wide-ranging portfolio of successful projects and collaborations. We work on a broad range of project types including custom homes and remodels, hotel and hospitality, commercial offices, research and development, retail, mixed-use development, and community-based religious/non-profit.  

Our approach to architecture is collaborative, creative, and client-focused. From concept to completion, we work closely with our clients to bring their vision to life and create great spaces for living, creating, working, learning, and relaxing.

We believe in living life outdoors.  Our work focuses on breaking down the barriers between interior and exterior, creating dynamic and functional outdoor living spaces, and interiors that shape natural light and views to create seamless transitions between inside and out.

We emphasize sustainable building and site development as fundamental to innovative and imaginative design. Our projects combine sustainable technology and forward-looking approaches to architecture, design, and living. We see a sustainable approach to design and construction as integral to every project and design decision.

We backup our design horsepower with extensive industry experience in project management, construction, and fabrication.  In all of our work we bring a focus on precision, craft, and detail.

DWA has offices in San Francisco, California and Birmingham, Michigan. We focus on the California and Michigan regional markets, but work on projects worldwide.

We believe that every project is unique and requires a unique solution. We specialize in intertwining client wants and needs, site context, microclimate, historic and cultural context, and available resources to create inspired solutions.
